The first check is done within 48 hours. Once you approve a Deal Card, the switch takes about 5 to 10 business days, depending on the provider. We keep you posted at each step.
You've authorised us to act on your behalf with your providers, under the agreement you signed when you joined. We do two things at once: talk to your current provider about a better rate, and benchmark a range of Australian providers for a cheaper alternative. You then get a Deal Card with both options and full before-and-after pricing. You choose. Nothing changes until you say yes.
No. Every change needs your approval. The authority you gave us is scoped to the bills you send us, and you can revoke it any time from your dashboard.
We check your contract for exit fees first. We only propose a switch when the saving clears the exit cost. If it doesn't stack up, we'll tell you to stay put and keep an eye on it for you.
Because you keep the first $300 we save you, free. We only earn once you're well ahead, and our fee is capped at $500 per switch. Save you $2,000 on one switch and you keep $1,500. Most brokers take a cut from the first dollar. We don't.
We don't take a fee on the first $300 we save you. The 30% fee only applies above that. Save you $500 and you keep $440: the full $300, plus 70% of the next $200. Save you $300 or less and you keep the lot.
The saving is the difference between your old plan and the new one over 12 months at your usage, shown on the Deal Card before you approve. We charge our share only after the switch completes. If we ever refund a fee, it comes back as a credit that automatically offsets your next success fee.
Identity documents are encrypted with AES-256 during the switch and deleted within 30 days of completion. No copies kept. Everything runs under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and you can ask us to delete your data any time.
Revoke the authority any time from your dashboard settings. Once you do, we can no longer act on your behalf.
